Highest grade

Mason brought home this certificate attached to one of his papers. We were pretty impressed that he had the highest score in all of 6th grade considering there are about 300 6th graders. He's actually had a little homework this year, but has been doing really good and had all A's on his progress reports.

Children's Museum

Over Labor Day weekend we went to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. There were many interesting things to see including a 43 ft. glass sculpture. The pic below shows the boys playing a kind of I Spy game in the basement below the sculpture.

1st day of school

These pictures are from the kid's first day of school. Mason started middle school this year but still rides the same bus as his brother and sister. Ashton is in third grade and Josie is in first. Randy & I were probably as nervous as they were the first day - being in a new city, unfamilar school setting, meeting new friends. All has gone smoothly and each one of them have met new friends and seem to be adjusting well.
